The difference with my stay here in Kenya compared to September is a difference of day to night. In all respect it is more Yasmin! Instead of staying in a luxury hotel, I eat as the only muzungu – white one – among the beach boys in their shacks, decorated with flies and drinking the same water.

I’ve been back from Kenya for a week now and it is difficult for me to put my experiences on paper. I am touched and filled with energy and grateful for the experience given to me. For the second time I experienced the feeling of coming home. The first time occurred to me in India (book: With an Open Heart).
Until the moment of awakening we often create our own reality. We do not see what we already have and focus on what we wanted and that is generally something outside of ourselves…
